Lacy Granny Square Crochet Project Yarns
I found a great free pattern online here for a unique, lacy crochet granny square: https://www.yarnspirations.com/red-heart-lacy-monet-throw/RHC0502-018371M.html
I am going to try to adapt the pattern into a poncho using Mona Lisa and Darice Cotton Yarns (sold in Yarn Nut Yarn Store below).
It's a really easy pattern that works up very quickly with the 4 weight yarn. I am using a Tulip 5mm hook (love Tulip hooks!) and I did half double crochets instead of double crochets for the first row (center circle).
I have a new love for granny squares since I found a method for working in my ends as I go. It makes it easy to use multiple colors in one granny square, which really makes them look amazing! I will be sharing that method soon on a YouTube video.
