Special Order Item Policies and Info at Yarn Nut
We are currently carrying Ice Yarns, Hobium Yarns and many others here at Yarn Nut. We cannot stock all items that these suppliers carry, so we have made items that we do not stock in our warehouse available as Special Order Items.
Many items that are not in stock at YarnNut.com can be ordered as a Special Order, if available from the supplier.
If you would like to order a Special Order Item, just place your order as usual. The stock status will be listed on the item so you can tell if it is in stock or not.
Your item(s) will be put on our inventory order list and ordered on our next order. We place inventory orders with our suppliers every two weeks or so (could be less time, could be more time). We will ship item(s) when we receive them from the supplier. We well keep you informed of the status of your order via email.
If you place an order that contains In Stock Items and Special Order items on the same order, your order will be held until all items are received from supplier and your order will be shipped all together. If you would like In Stock items shipped right away in a separate shipment, we will have to charge a shipping charge for that portion of the order. Just contact us via email @ Yarn@YarnNut.com and we will let you know what that shipping charge would be and you can decide if you want that separate shipment.
Your credit card will be authorized at the time of the order and will be charged one week after your order is placed. If we don't charge your card in one week, our credit card processor cancels the transaction automatically.
Special Orders Items can be cancelled until that inventory order is placed. Once we place an order with our supplier, we cannot cancel it, therefore we cannot allow cancellations after that order is placed. You can cancel the items or order before we place that stock order and your credit card will not be charged if your credit card has been charged, we will process a full refund as long as we have not placed the stock order with our supplier. We will send out an email when your items are ordered from the supplier.
Shipments from the supplier can take 1-2 weeks or more to arrive. We can't guarantee a time of arrival due to unforeseen circumstances.
Special Orders that are cancelled after our inventory order is placed with our supplier or Special Order Items that are returned after shipment will be charged a 40% re-stock fee.
Please be aware that our Supplier Inventory changes rapidly and items on our web site may not be available with our supplier at time order is placed. If we are unable to get a special order item in stock, a full refund will be issued. If a Special Order Item is cancelled by the customer before we place our inventory order with our supplier, a full refund will be issued.
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to re-stock any yarn so be sure get the amount you need for the projects you have in mind.
